From the reviews
Boynton Karate is an amazing karate school for kids and adults. All the teachers are very good with children and communicate well with the parents. The students learn self defense and confidence. They have been able to get the shyest kids out of their shell and they show a lot of patience.
My daughter has been with Boynton Karate for 7 years and it's been amazing! I could not be more pleased with the instructors and teachers. She has learned techniques for self defense in addition to overall self confidence and made some great friends. The instructors are always in communication with the parents.
I started taking karate lessons since I was 8 years young. I’m now 16. Boynton karate not only helped me get in shape, but my mentality is more disciplined from when I started. I feel that Boynton Karate changed my life for the better.
This pace was great. The instructors were amazing and nice. Haven’t see a as good karate place like this near by. One of the best karate Places I have ever been too!
Your first Karate class at boynton karate
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
