“I'd like to see more sparring tho, so my daughter knows how to deal with real situations that she could possibly run into during her school years, and upcoming adulthood.”

From the reviews
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to Master Ron. Since my son, Ryan, started taking karate classes a few months ago, I've seen incredible changes in him, and it's all thanks to his amazing teaching style.
We’ve been taking my son for the past few months and he absolutely loves it! He’s never been into sports like soccer or baseball, but we signed him up at Cape Coral Karate and he’s having an absolute blast. The instructors are absolutely amazing, and so patient with the children.
Cape karate is amazing! Our son looks forward to going weekly and is eager to engage in the challenges both physically as well as mentally. I love the discipline and respect that is encouraged and the reward system.
My daughter loves karate with Master Ron! He’s so great with all of the kids. He is wonderful at keeping them accountable and teaching them discipline and respect. Our daughter has learned so much and we’re very confident in her abilities to use her skills should she ever need to.
Your first Karate class at Cape Coral Karate
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
