Mr Rambert is an awesome teacher we commute 2 weeks out of the month from Boston for serval session and my granddaughter just love it she has learned several things I am so proud of her if your looking for someone to take pride in you children karate for kids is the place to be cape cod ma.
Both my son and daughter loved it so much that we made it a family thing. Here we are 4 years later, all black belts with both kids competing. The confidence and leadership skills gained through ATA has transferred nicely to school where my son is comfortable with public speaking and has stood tall, placing himself in…
Our son Kyle is a second degree black belt, (12 years old) he has been going here for 4 years. We really love Mr rambert and the experiences we have enjoyed between classes and tournaments. Kyle has really found his confidence since starting and his self esteem is so much better.
My son has been taking lessons at Karate for Kids for just about a year now and he absolutely loves it. It’s a great way for high energy boys to learn some self control, discipline and best of all tire out!! I would absolutely recommend Karate for Kids for anyone looking for affordable lessons.
Your first Karate class at Karate For Kids
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
