From the reviews
My son has been with Aikido Academy for a few months now and I have noticed a real positive difference in his personality and behavior. He loves going to his weekly martial arts classes and is getting amazing feedback from the instructors.
This is a great place for adults and children. The instructors are patient and teach well. I like the techniques we learned here. And while they do conditioning and flexibility training, the moves don't require you to spin, flip, fly in the air or do a full split.
My daughter is 7 and has been attending for 3 months now and still active and motivated. Registered for a year. Love the skills and techniques provided to her and looking forward to more advance skills in the future.
It's a very friendly family oriented environment the cost is very reasonable for those parents who can't afford to pay for expensive lessons compared to other places I have been to especially with increased cost of living they also hold nerf war parties which the kids love they also have an app to keep you updated on…
Your first Karate class at Lehigh Valley Samurai Academy
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
