2025: The Best Training. Updating: 2022 I registered my daughter as a student of this school and the instructors really have a lot of patience and take their time to help her learn. I am very happy with the professionalism and training that my daughter and I are receiving.
I Learned all the weapons of the TMNT the sword is my fav . I can defend myself my family an community I am NOT AFRAID of any thug boxer or MMA person with a attitude. This school teaches Culture history and philosophy, Named The Fairview dojo by Peter urban Who also lived here for a time.
Being a servant leader, I understand the importance of giving back to the community your business or organization is located. They are committed to serving the younger population by ensuring their needs of health and fitness is provided through the component of Karate education.
This is a great place for healthy karate education. The children enjoy going to learn different moves and all of the instructors are great with kids. All in all, a great business.
Your first Karate class at New Jersey State Black Belt Assn. Karate Dojo
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
