“I also get to see how the team interacts with the younger elementary school kids, and as a parent and youth leader myself I’m just so impressed.”
“I went to PBK when I was a teenager in the early 90s and almost made it to Blue Belt before quitting to focus on other teenage priorities (job/car/girls 😉).”

From the reviews
My son has been going to Personal Best Karate for the past 6 years. He has attended classes at the Foxboro and Norton Studios. The level of professionalism at this school is second to none. All of the instructors are so kind and motivating to the students.
I can’t say enough good things about PBK! My son struggled to find any activity he loved until he tried karate. Master Camara and Mr. McDonald are amazing teachers and so wonderful with the kids, and my son really looks up to them both.
Personal Best Karate - Norton has been an incredible experience for my son. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a warm and professional team. The programs offered are exceptional and tailored perfectly for kids. The instructors are not only skilled but also incredibly patient and motivating.
Cant even put into words how wonderful this program is, Rangers. Signed my then 3yo son up this past summer during a trial promotion. If you're looking for a karate program that meets your child where they're at, while instilling positivity, respect and all the morals and ethics expected of karate then this is the…
Your first Karate class at Personal Best Karate - Norton
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
