From the reviews
I’ve been a student of Andres Prada and experienced his love and passion for Karate. I am impressed and impacted by his relaxed and practical approach for an art that his been around for thousands of years. They say that a Blackbelt in any martial art should also be a black belt in life.
Success is a great place to bring your kids for afterschool and even for holidays because of their day camps, they're awesome! We participaded on a seminar recently and the space is incredibley, really cozy and Andrés is a really great guy!
We love Success Karate! After a long search to find the perfect place for our child we found Success Karate where our kid learns Karate, participates in afterschool activities and more. The greatest thing is that he recieves assitance with his homework and each day he's more focused and happy!
My daughter goes every weekday to this awesome place! She loves it! I'm so grateful to have found place like this. Sensei Andrés loves chidren and he works really hard on bringing them the best fun and education. Thank you!
Your first Karate class at Success Karate School
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
