From the reviews
Me and my family have been doing karate at 3T for about 8 years and it has brought us together, made us better people and thought us how to defend our selves in REAL LIFE situations. Karate has personally made me in great shape, improved my confidence, and most of all taught me perseverance and hard work.
I enjoyed my session very much. Friendly and great customer service. The instructors/sensei’s make you feel welcome and listened to and heard. And the pricing is great too! Would and will recommend to family and friends. My son I already told about it and he wants to join as well. Excited for the new beginnings.
My family and I have been training here for 5 years. Getting my black belt was the most rewarding experience I’ve had in my life! As a family, this has been a great bonding experience that really brought us together while teaching my younger siblings (sister and brother) discipline and life skills that have helped…
This school has provided a great experience for my son. He's stronger, more confident, more disciplined, and he enjoys going to class. The instructors seem to enjoy what they do and make each child feel appreciated. The instructors are firm, but not like drill sergeants.
Your first Karate class at Championship Martial Arts - San Antonio
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
