Little Dragons Karate

Little Dragons — dojos use names like Tiny Tigers or Lil' Ninjas too — are karate's classes for the very youngest students, roughly ages three to six. They're less about fighting technique and more about the foundations that make later training possible: listening, following directions, coordination, balance and taking turns, taught through games, animal movements and short, playful drills, with lots of encouragement and belts or stripes to celebrate progress. Classes are short and high-energy by design, and a good instructor keeps every child engaged and moving. Expect fun over formality, expect confidence and focus to grow class by class, and confirm the exact age range with the dojo before you enroll.
