From the reviews
We have had an amazing experience so far with Kinder Karate. The three-session trial experience they offer has been a great way to gauge our son’s interest in the program and he’s been hooked since day one.
Our son has been going to kinder karate at the Bethel Park location for about four sessions now. My son is 4 1/2 years old, He is shy and is catching up on some of his gross and fine motor skills.
My 5 yr old is 4 weeks into the program and so far I am impressed. Mrs. Czerniak is awesome! My son is attentive and responds well to her and I noticed all the other children do also.
Our son just turned 4 and we were looking to get him into an activity that would keep his interest while also keeping him active. On his first night, he was very shy and reserved. Mrs. C let him watch but continued to check on him to see if he was ready to join in...
Your first Karate class at Kinder Karate Bethel Park
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
