I enrolled my son about 7 months ago , when I say this was the best decision I made. My son was very quiet and so unsure of himself . When I say after attending this school , he is so confident . I am so grateful for the instructor and his wife they are the best . I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Great place! Amazing Grand Master! I recently joined and have definitely fallen in line with the place. He's a great coach and the training helps you so much with your internal l overall mental and physical well-being as we're all supposed to be able to cutting conflicts as well as not be a stranger to them.
I went in for a self defense class and it was a great experience! The methods taught were practical and easy to remember. Trae was a great instructor. He was both professional and personable which allowed a serious class to also be fun. I would definitely recommend!
My Tactical Advantage is a great place to learn self defense. I wish I knew about them when my children were younger because we would have all been enrolled. After someone broke into our Motorhome, we enrolled so that we can be ready for the next intruder!
Your first Karate class at My Tactical Advantage LLC
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
