Great place since our very first visit. They always try to build the kids up with great pep talks and and encouragement. Even though there's plenty of laughs it's very well structured to help the kids learn discipline and respect as well.
This is one the best decision I have made by enrolling my grandson in this martial arts program. My grandson truly enjoy learning martial arts skills and techniques. They are very professional and I love how Mischell teach her students discipline and respect towards their elders as well their peers.
My son has been going here for 7 months now and we are very happy with the staff and the work they do to improve the skills of these kids! My kiddo looks forward to his martial arts training twice per week and I have loved seeing his progression!

Second, you won't be thrown into hard sparring — reputable dojos build fundamentals (stances, blocks, punches, and kicks) for weeks, and kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, with pads and control. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call.
