Karate Kata (Forms) Classes
Kata are the choreographed forms at the heart of karate — set sequences of blocks, strikes, stances and turns performed against imaginary opponents. They're how the art is preserved and passed down, and how students build clean technique, balance, breathing, memory and focus; each belt has its required kata, so kata practice is central to grading and testing. Kata suits everyone from the first-day white belt learning a basic form to the black belt polishing the fine details over years. Expect careful, repeated practice, expect a form to reveal something new each time you run it, and expect kata to reward patience more than raw athleticism.
