From the reviews
I’ve been training at Elite Martial Arts for many years now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The school has helped me grow not just physically but also mentally and emotionally.
Our journey in EMA has been wonderful so far. The kids not only get trained in martial arts but learn focus, self-discipline and it boosts their confidence too. Every kid is given special attention and so much of effort goes into understanding every student’s capability to assist them better to learn the skills.
Our son began attending EMA at the age of five, when he was quite the little dragon. Since then, he has transformed into a caring, disciplined, and focused child. Branson eagerly looks forward to attending class, not only to learn self-defense but also valuable life lessons.
EMA is an exceptional school that radiates positivity and truly empowers children. It emphasizes building confidence and leadership skills, which are essential for a child’s overall development. The staff is always welcoming, greeting everyone with warm, genuine smiles.
Your first Karate class at Elite Martial Arts Academy
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
