From the reviews
We have been apart of Kaizen for over a year now and love it! Leyna looks forward to class everyday and getting to see her instructors. One thing I love about Kaizen is the sense of family when you join.
My granddaughter, Serenity loves Kaizen. She attends daily and wants to go everyday to karate. The instructors are very helpful. She loves karate better than ballet( she left ballet one day wanting to go to karate class) We look forward to our future days at Kaizen.
Awesome role models for your children, the best instructors ever and a very friendly environment for all. I highly recommend Kaizen. our family gives them a 5 star review hands down! 😊
I'm incredibly impressed with the progress my daughter Zaleah has made in just 6 months at Kaizen Karate! Her focus, discipline, and confidence have all improved significantly. The instructors are fantastic at engaging the kids and helping them develop both martial arts skills and life skills.
Your first Karate class at Kaizen Karate Academy
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
