From the reviews
We had the incredible opportunity to train at the Leadership Training Seminar hosted by Master Gregory and Master Robinson from Legacy Martial Arts in Oxnard, California. My boys had an amazing time, not only improving their taekwondo skills but also developing valuable leadership qualities. Ms. Rosales, Ms.
I started training on the Legacy Martial Arts Family Fitness Center program over a year ago. I moved to California and it took me around 4-5 months to find a place that I truly love. I have been studying and training martial arts for over 10 years and I must say that this is one of the best programs in the county.
My son started at Legacy Martial Arts a year ago, and thanks to the amazing instructors we have seen such an amazing growth in his personality. He loves going to class and looks forward to each strip & belt rank up. We are definitely a Legacy Family & will be signing up our daughter when she becomes of age.
When I did the introduction session with miss Rosales I thought I was just going to do the 2 weeks free trial but I learned so much in the short time we had and it was fun so I decided to join the Legacy family. I have learned so much and have gotten stronger in my punches and kicks.
Your first Karate class at Legacy Martial Arts Family Fitness Center Oxnard, CA
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
