From the reviews
My son has grown by leaps and bounds at the mma facility. Coach E and Coach Amanda are not just fabtastic coaches to these kids. They are family. We couldn't have found a better facility to teach self-defense, discipline, respect, and teamwork. Thank you, PMA, for being above and beyond!!!
Update on May 07, 2025. Note to anyone reading these negative reviews that are dated May 7th, the people writing them are completely lying because a person didn't get hired. We were there that day and there is no way this person passed martial arts skills at a teacher/instructor level.
My two boys love the instructors and the life lessons they are learning are priceless. When I signed my oldest son up I was already overwhelmed by some behavior issues we were dealing with at home and raising an energetic toddler as well. Martial arts has been a huge lifeline for all of us.
My daughter loves going to class and loves her instructors, they push her to be the best she can, which is what she loves most, she loves being pushed to be better. The best Karate place around. Thank you coach Juan and coach Amanda!!!!
Your first Karate class at Premier Martial Arts Canton
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
