From the reviews
My kids love Nackord. We have tried other karate studios, but this one really fits for us. The teachers are patient and masters of their art. What is best is that they are flexible. With busy schedules, little kids and being pulled in the 1000 directions that life does, this facility works with us.
Nackord Karate is a great place to learn and grow as a Martial Artist, The kids love the place, it is a safe and fun environment and the teaching methodology is diverse and promote confidence and instill high values.
My child has been training at Nackord Karate for several months. I was drawn in by the thoughtful approach to building not just technique, but mind, body, and character. This was apparent just from reading the materials on the website. I would recommend that people interested in training here take a look at Mr.
My daughter started karate at Nackord Karate System last September. As I watched her learn and work, I noted how patient, knowledgeable, and friendly the instructors were. I also noted how much fun she was having! It gave me the courage to start my own training at the age of 41!
Your first Karate class at The Nackord Karate System
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
