From the reviews
We have been with 3T for years. Each of our children have increased in confidence, skill, respect, and strength. We couldn’t ask for a better dojo or set of leaders to learn from. If you’re on the fence about joining, hop in and see for yourself! We’re glad we did! 🙌
Our family has been doing karate at 3T for just over 4 years. All 6 of us attend classes, though the kids are more consistent than the adults! I love the community that we have found in the dojo. My kids have all made friends. My husband and I have made friends.
The owner and teacher, Eric, is an absolutely outstanding instructor and role model. I’ve known Eric for a few years at this point and his dedication to his art, and more importantly, positively influencing our youth to be strong individuals is unmatched.
they were very organized and ready to host my daughter's Ninja Party. Christina and her staff made sure everybody was enjoying it and kept the kids entertained, teaching them respect, and plenty of physical activity, this was the first bday party, my child, Nerissa Combini, ever had with peers from school.
Your first Karate class at 3T Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a Karate dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and a good sensei expects beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks — not hard sparring. Step to the side whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot. What to bring: water, and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi and the belt your dojo awards you. Kumite (sparring) eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
